Straumur offers a variety of connections to its payment services. Depending on your needs, you can choose the one that suits you best.

Take payments in your own site or app​

  • Hosted Checkout — redirect the shopper to a payment page hosted by Straumur. The quickest integration; no card data touches your systems.
  • Components — embed Straumur's payment component in your own checkout page or app for a seamless look, still without handling card data yourself.
  • Payment Gateway — server-to-server payments with saved-card tokens or encrypted card data, plus capture, refund and the other modifications that every integration uses.

Take payments without a checkout on your site​

  • Payment Links — create a link in the Merchant Portal or through the API and send it to the shopper.

Use a ready-made plugin​

For every integration​

  • Webhooks — the reliable way to learn the outcome of a payment. Set them up whichever connection you choose.
